At Brant Custom Machining, Ltd., we make high accuracy manufacturing easy and simple. A regular service provider for the Visual Image Mapping industry, we benefit our customers through precise machining services that fabricate parts and products to advanced specifications.

We recently assisted a customer looking to manufacture a camera mounting bar used for image mapping equipment. Following close dimensional tolerances would be crucial to the successful manufacturing of the part, which was to be built from 6061-T6 Aluminum. 10 examples would be made over the course of the project.

In order to achieve the best accuracy, we used a fabrication approach combining several CNC Milling processes, including counterboring, drilling, tapping, and chamfering. Follow-up finishing processes included deburring, part making, chromating, and Anodizing to Mil-A-8625 Type II standards. Peak tolerances of +0.0005 / -0.000 were achieved.

Parts were cut, finished, and inspected on a 2-week lead time and delivered to the customer in Canada. Through our capabilities, we were able to make a precision product to exact customer specifications quickly and easily.
